What did an invisible God want from a bunch of frail, selfish people? The only thing Landon could figure was that He'd like for them to learn to love and help one another. Why else would they be living on such a difficult planet?
People ate everyday, and often times they didn't pause when standing in the fresh produce section of the grocery store to realize the magnitude of God's earth that feeds them.
I don't think God puts us on this earth so we can be afraid of stepping into the unknown. Isn't tomorrow an unknown even if we all stay right here where tradition is kept and every piece of ground is familiar?
